    1. Central Government Flagship Scheme

Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme Scheme (PMEGP)

Background

  • This scheme was introduced by Central govt. in the year 2008-09 for Employment   Generation through setting up of new Self employment ventures/ Projects/ Micro enterprises   through bank loan from Nationalized Bank.
  • At the State level, the Scheme will be implemented through State KVIC Directorates, State Khadi and Village Industries Boards (KVIBs) and District Industries Centres (DICs) and Banks. The Government subsidy under the Scheme will be routed by KVIC through the identified Banks for eventual distribution to the beneficiaries / entrepreneurs in their Bank accounts.

How to apply?

  • PMEGP application can be submitted through online mode only.
  • Website for PMEGP application is “www.kviconline.gov.in”.The documents required for online registration are

  • Passport Photo
  • PAN Card/Aadhaar Card
  • Educational Qualification certificate (if any)
  • Caste certificate (if any)
  • Project Report/DPR
  • Population Certificate/Localmen Certificate

Eligibility:

  • Individuals above 18 years of age
  • VIII Std. pass required for project above Rs.10.00 lakhs in manufacturing and above Rs. 5.00 lakhs for Service Sector
  • Maximum project cost of Rs. 50.00 lakhs in manufacturing sector and Rs. 20.00 lakhs in Service Sector.

Negative list of activities:

  • Industry / Business connected with productions / processing / sale of meat or intoxicant items like Beedi / Pan / Cigar / Cigarette etc.
  • Manufacture of Polythene carry bags of less than 75 microns / containers of recycled plastic.
  • Activities prohibited by Local Govt./Authorities keeping in view environment & socio-economic factors will not be allowed.

PM Formalization Of Micro Food Processing Enterprises(PMFME)

 

What is it?

 

A Centrally Sponsored scheme for providing financial, technical and business support for up gradation of micro food processing enterprises, FPOs, SHGs and Cooperatives engaged in food processing activities.

Scheme Benefits

    • New Food processing/Upgrade existing micro units with credit linked subsidy @35%
    • Credit linked capital investment grant @35% to FPOs/SHGs/Cooperatives
    • Seed capital support of Rs 40000 to SHG members
    • Credit  linked   grant  @35%  to  FPOs/SHGs/Cooperatives  for   common infrastructure.
    • 50% Grant support for marketing and branding to FPOs/SHGs/Cooperatives

Who can apply?

    • New units (individual/groups) food processing Units.
    • Existing individual food processing micro units in operation.
    • FPOs.
    • SHGs.

2. Central Government Flagship Scheme

Assam Tea Industries Special Incentives Scheme(Atisis), 2020

  • This scheme is applicable for the period 3(Three year) from 1st April, 2020 to 31st March, 2023.This scheme has four components-
    1. Interest Subvention on working Capital @ 3% p.a .
    2. Orthodox or Specialty Tea Production Subsidy @Rs.7.00 per Kg.
    3. Subsidy of 25% of Plant & Machinery on Orthodox or Specialty Tea Unit(Upto Rs.30.00Lakhs)
    4. Agriculture Tax Holiday.
